Clunie Dam Lodge is a private and secluded place to stay with breathtaking views of Highland Perthshire.
The lodge sits in over four acres of peaceful woodland grounds and gardens on the shores of Loch Tummel. It offers guests unrivalled exclusivity and stunning panoramic views of the Tummel valley, surrounding forests, Munros and other hills.
Guests can enjoy numerous local tourist attractions, independent shops, gourmet restaurants, friendly cafes and a variety of lifestyle activities such as golf, fishing, shooting, kayaking, cycling, climbing, walking. The area is home to Blair Athol Castle, House of Bruar, known as the “Harrods of the North”, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre, all of which are only 20 minutes’ drive from the lodge.

The Lodge
Clunie Dam lodge is a stunning Scandinavian cedar clad lodge built in the 1950s by Scottish Hydro Electric and directly adjacent to Clunie Dam on Loch Tummel. Scottish Hydro Electric housed the dam attendant and his family in the beautiful location whilst working at the dam until the early 21st century. The lodge was purchased by dam attendant and his wife in the early 1990s and remained with their family until being purchased in 2018 by the current owners.
The lodge is furnished to an exceptional standard and covers 90m2 offering accommodation for up to six guests with three individually designed spacious bedrooms, a beautiful lounge affording stunning views over the Tummel valley towards Ben Vrackie with a log burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen/diner and a shower/WC. The private gardens and grounds extend onto the shoreline of Loch Tummel.
